The dynasties who rose to the throne had depicted Bhukruti,
The old came to India again was a new youth,
Everyone recognized the value of lost freedom,
Everyone was determined to do away with Firangi.
In the seventy-seven that shone, that sword was old,
We heard the story from the mouth of Bundel bards,
Fought gallantly, she was the Queen of Jhansi.
